OUR COUNSELLORS
All our counsellors are experienced in working with people from all walks of life. The centre will where possible, use qualified or trainee Christian counselors to counsel clients who are registered with ACC (Association of Christian Counsellors) but when this is not possible, the client will be given the option to work with a trainee counselor or pastoral carer, all of whom will be subject to supervision and accreditation by the FTC board.
All our counselors have excellent listening skills and are trained to listen to you without judgment to help understand your current difficulties, past experiences, present anxieties and concerns about the future.
When you visit one of our counsellors or therapists, their objective is to use therapy which will help you to make your own choices and decisions about the changes you want to make in your life. They are there to listen and support you, not to tell you how you should feel or what you should do.
